New Year 2023

Below is my New Year’s blog that I posted on our online store site. I like our online store but the site itself doesn’t actually work for blogs at the moment. YOU, our customers and friends, can’t comment on anything I post there due to current limitations they are working on fixing, maybe. That kinda bothered me so I decided to start using our old Blog site here on WordPress again. Here you can read some of our old blogs and I can enjoy your comments again.

A New Year is upon us. Can you believe another year has gone by already? I don’t know where it has gone for me. Anyone else feel like this?

A New Year. Fresh Start. Everyone is supposed to have resolutions for the New Year, right? Right.  Personally, I have always found New Year’s Resolutions to be things that you end up not accomplishing and therefore feeling bad about for the second half of the year. I stopped making them a long time ago. Who needs the extra guilt? Life has a way of happening and changing your plans. It certainly happened to me for 2022. Rod’s death on January 17th changed everything for me and for Belfire this year. But….I’m managing and Belfire is still here and I am grateful.

So, that said, I don’t have any “resolutions” for the upcoming year.  I have goals instead and these are ongoing. Things I am working towards for both myself and for Belfire. Some days I am overwhelmed by these goals and other days I know for sure that I can meet them.  I don’t know that goals are ever resolved or just evolve into something different.  Life is ever-changing. Every single day brings something new to do or to learn. I hope I never lose the desire to get up and see each new day and each new year and what it might bring.

I want to end this year by thanking all of YOU, our customers, and supporters. I honestly could not have made it this year without you. Over this past year I have been to a number of events and saw a lot of old friends and made many new ones. I want you to know how much I enjoy talking to everyone about Rod and his passion for helping people. Your memories of conversations with him and how he helped you or how one of our remedies helped you has made all the difference to me this past year. You cried with me and hugged me during our conversations and you have no idea how much that meant, means, to me.  THANK YOU!

I have no idea what the upcoming New Year holds for me or for Belfire. I know what I hope it holds for all of us – Family, Peace of mind, Laughter, Happiness, Success, and Prosperity. All excellent goals for sure.

Keep up with what we are doing this year by subscribing on the website. You will receive notifications of events Belfire Botanicals will be at as well as when new blogs are posted and sales occur. I will be updating the site with our first events for 2023 this coming weekend. We hope to see you there!

Happy New Year!
Love and hugs,
Susan
